How I define cool is....

 How I define cool is when the person can stay true to themselves and have a personality that everyone can get along with. I like being around people that have awesome personality because I feel I can talk to them for hours. For example, my uncle Ace who I believe is the definition of cool has a cool ego. At every moment he's always chill and relax, he never does anything out the ordinary. He's always willing to help the people around him and I can honesty say thats never going to change. He's always reminding me that if I need help in anything just let him know. Most people change when they get into a relationship because of their partner is either taking up their free time or doesn't have any time but not my uncle. He still comes over and sometimes brings his girlfriend with him and we all hang out as a family.  

Graphic or regular novels?

Reading a graphic novel is completely different from a regular novel. Graphic novels show more illustrations than novels. I believe graphic novels tells the point through the illustration compared to regular novels which tells the point from reading bunches of pages. In order for me to understand on whats going on in graphic novels, I have to really look closely to the illustration. finally, I enjoyed reading a graphic novel because it was something new for me.

My Thoughts on...

I really enjoyed reading Persepolis. The moment I read the first page caught my attention and I began to keep reading it. I believe the book was so interesting that I wanted to finish the book the day I bought it. Each chapter got so intriguing and compelling that it will be impossible to just read one chapter a day. However, I usually don't like reading memoirs that look like comic books because I find it boring. In this case, I actually like it and I give thanks to my Professor Simon for assigning us the book Persepolis.

Meeting Deadlines

I actually like meeting deadlines because it gives me a sense of achievement. plus, it takes a lot of weight of my shoulders and if I finish before the deadline it gives me time to revise it. However, I sometimes not always meet them but that's something rarely happens. So whenever I don't meet them my professor or whoever is in charge might not get furious about it. I believe it's all about time management.

My Feedback on Eric Thomas.

The speech from Eric Thomas was tremendous and impacted me into my daily life. I truly believe that in order to be successful a person must know how to sacrifice. I'm willing to sacrifice my materials such as my phone, television, and my free time in order for me to excel in my classes. Another believe that I thought was amazing was when he said "If you want to succeed as bad as you want to breath, then you'll be successful". It can be a great eulogy not just for me but for others because it can remind a person to stay on track and focus. With that being said, I know that can be my motto for this semester.
